A friend that registered only few days ago can get a free license only for ESXi 6. I don't think there's any denying that VMware is pretty much the best out there for virtualization, but it seems like VMware is TRYING to drive customers to other solutions. Is there any way to get free licenses for ESXi 5.5 (free version) As an old user I can get a free license for either version 5.5 and 6.
